About

The practice.

Metropolitan Design Pvt. Ltd. draws, calculates and builds from one office in Janakpurdham.

The work is residential and commercial. A client’s brief is taken apart with the people who will draw it, engineer it and, when asked, build it. That is the point of keeping architecture, structure and construction in the same office.

Projects are held to a programme and a budget. Eco-friendly materials and methods are used where they genuinely suit the building, not as a label added at the end.

The office is in Janakpurdham, and the work is for Nepal: buildings that have to be designed with earthquake engineering in the room from the start.
